The field of pangenomics is rapidly expanding, but there are still few tools available for manipulating and visualizing annotated pangenomes. Panorama aims to provide a set of tools for searching and visualizing regions of interest within a pangenome. To demonstrate the utility of the tool, Panorama was used to investigate the genomic region responsible for the white spotting trait in cattle.
